Easily clean your Collapse-it in warm soapy water or with a quick run through the dishwasher. To deep clean your Collapse-it, soak it in very hot, soapy water for 20-30 minutes.
Removing stains and lingering odors
Baking soda method
Baking soda is an excellent way to remove any traces of what was stored in your Collapse-it. Mix equal parts baking soda and water into a thick paste and let it sit overnight. Gently scrub the paste off with warm water the next morning, and find your Collapse-it like new.
Baking method
Collapse-its are 100% silicone and completely oven-safe. Place your Collapse-it in a 350 degree oven for around 25 minutes. After it has cooled, wash as normal in hot, soapy water.
Tip: place it on a baking sheet and sprinkle a little baking soda and water over the dish to remove the most pungent smells.
Vinegar method
Soak your Collapse-it in warm water and white distilled vinegar for 20 minutes to remove stubborn stains or odors.
Tip: use the vinegar solution and a scrub brush to dissolve any persistent water stains.
