How to apply
Always wash any make-up off and cleanse your face with soap and water before applying a face mask. Apply a layer of clay about ⅛ inch thick over the face. Let sit for up to fifteen minutes (or 5-10 minutes for sensitive skin). Rinse dried clay away using a washcloth or facial cleansing brush and warm water.
Tip: store your mask mixture in the fridge for 5-10 minutes before use for an extra cooling, soothing effect.
Directions for face, skin and hair masks
Using a non-metal spoon and utensil, mix 1 part clay with 1 part raw Apple Cider Vinegar (recommended) or water until a smooth, creamy paste forms. Add more clay or liquid if needed. Apply ⅛ to ¼ inch to the face or other surface. Let sit 15-20 minutes for skin and hair, or 5-10 minutes for sensitive skin. You will feel a tightening and pulling sensation after application to skin. Remove clay by rinsing with warm water. Slight redness following use is normal and should disappear within 30 minutes. Recommended for men and women.
Always remove the mask before it is completely dry to avoid removing natural oils from skin.
